Who is Carib Sales, LLC?
Carib Sales, LLC is a 43 year old wholesale distributor of Health & Beauty products. We serve a variety of customers in the Caribbean islands, Central & South America as well as within the United States and throughout the world.
Who can buy from Carib Sales?
Our customers are primarily retail store owners or other wholesalers and re-distributors with business license and/or resale tax ID. We aren't able to sell to online businesses.
Why are there no prices on your website?
We do not list pricing for a couple of reasons. First, customer prices will vary due to order volume and variety. Second, we are not a traditional ecommerce site and, as such, we do not sell to the general public in single quantities (eaches), and we do not provide for electronic payments on the site.
Why does this site work this way?
This site was created to allow customers (current and potential) to submit a request for a price quotation on a selection of merchandise. Because pricing is relative to each customer's request, we chose not to display pricing on any item. With these things in mind, our goal was to create a method that would allow customers to create their own order at their own pace and provide a tool that would give access to our entire inventory at the touch of a few buttons.
How does the site work?
For current customers: You will need to log in with your assigned username and password. After that you may begin to fill your shopping cart. Once you have finished shopping, simply submit your request, and we'll follow up with you to confirm any details and process your order according to your needs.
For potential customers: You will need to register first, and then you may begin filling your shopping cart. Once you have finished shopping, simply submit your request, and we'll follow up with you to confirm your details and open your account.
How do I get an account with Carib Sales?
When you register online, you are giving us the basics to open your account with Carib Sales. One of our salespeople will contact you regarding your quotation request, and we can collect all the other necessary information at that time. We will need to obtain copies of a valid business license and tax certificate. For all international accounts, we will need a copy of your current passport information. Will I have a sales person even if I open my account online?
Absolutely! One of our knowledgeable staff will be in touch with you within 24 hours or less of your order having been placed. We look forward to serving you.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We prefer a valid company check or cashier's check. We also accept credit cards (processing fee will apply). Please check with your sales representative for details on how we transact payments. Many new rules and regulations limit us, and we want to offer you the most efficient and effective method to forward your payments.
How do I establish credit terms?
We are happy to extend credit terms to those customers that have earned the privilege. Initially, we will need our credit application completed and returned to us. Subsequently, we will need to build a credibility track record. After a few initial orders are completed without financial difficulty and a credit check is completed, we may extend limited credit terms for domestic based accounts only.
Are there any shipping costs?
We have established minimum shipment amounts that can usually cover shipping costs; however, due to fluctuations in fuel prices and subsequent freight surcharges, we cannot guarantee 'free" freight on all shipments. We have always sought to cover freight costs whenever possible and will continue to do so. Please refer to our policies and procedures page for more information.
